Rebecca L. Abrams was born on March 29, 1977, in Livingston, New Jersey. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of Florida in 1999. In 2002, she received an honors J.D. and an Estates and Trusts Practice Certificate from the University of Florida. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in May 2003, and to the United States Tax Court in September 2003. In 2004 she received her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation, also from the University of Florida.

During her undergraduate and law school career, Ms. Abrams volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem in Alachua County, Florida and completed an externship in the Eighth Judicial Circuit. After earning her J.D., she completed a tax internship with a well-known tax boutique in Miami, Florida, and in 2004, she joined Fieldstone Lester Shear & Denberg, LLP.

Ms. Abrams is a member of the Elder Law, Real Property, Probate and Trust Law, and Tax sections of the Florida Bar, as well as the Young Lawyers division. Ms. Abrams concentrates her practice in international and domestic corporate transactions, asset protection and wealth preservation, tax-exempt organizations, and real estate transactions.
