Luis Flores was born on February 20, 1976 in Akron, Ohio. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors from the University of Miami in 1997, and a Juris Doctor Degree from the New York University School of Law in 2000, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2001.

Mr. Flores moved to Miami in 1989 to complete his high school education after having been raised in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and Nice, France. Mr. Flores maintains dual citizenship (U.S. and Mexico).

Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Flores returned to Miami and joined the local office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP as a real estate associate. During his five year tenure at WGM, Mr. Flores represented national financial institutions in commercial mortgage and mezzanine loan transactions involving properties throughout the United States, with a concentration in Florida, New York and California.

Mr. Flores is a member of the Real Property and Probate and Trust Section of the Florida Bar and practices in the areas of real estate, banking and transactional law, representing developers, financial institutions and investors. Mr. Flores is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French.
